Monday 4 April

Ok, so it's April already...

Michael Brohm has been and gone, his visit a great success - with a wonderful Talk&Social (have you seen the video yet?), a really fun and social Portrait Workshop (winners announced v soon!) and a load of other events and contacts we arranged for Michael. For those who haven't already seen his images of Leeds are on his Flickr stream.

We also had the wonderful photowalk around Bramley - you can see the images in the Bramleydom group and read about it here and here.

And so, on to April...

Talk&Social | 6th April - Andy Leader

For those who aren't aware, the first Wednesday of the month is our regular get together and this month we're back at Old Broadcasting House.

Andy Leader - the man behind Made in Holmfirth - is speaking to us about his love of landscape photography. You can find out more on the website ; but it's the usual format - doors at 6pm, talk at 6.30pm - finishing before 9pm - £3 entry (£0 to supporters)

That's about it...

Just to quickly point out this month's Weekend Coffee Break will be a photowalk around Calverley led by Anne Akers (30th April) and that we have an upcoming photowalk as part of the Saltaire Arts Trail festival on Spring Bank Holiday weekend (the one at the end of May)!

Finally - a few people have mentioned that they're not always up to speed; the 2 places you can get information first about our activities are Twitter and Facebook ; we try to also keep the Flickr group updated too! (And don't worry - you'll still get these emails!)

Hope to see you on Wednesday or at the photo walk...

Cheers!

Anne, Jon and Mark
